"You can upgrade the look of your house and increase your curb appeal with a few easy (and cheap!) front yard fixes."

Step 1: Line it up.
Keep your grass, trees, and shrubs tidy. Clean lines make all the difference between a friendly and welcoming home and one that looks drab and uninviting. An edger is a great piece of equipment, as are hedge trimmers and pruners.

Step 2: Put on a fresh coat.
You don’t have to repaint your entire house just to freshen up its look. A burst of color on your door, window sashes, or planter boxes can really spruce up the exterior of your home.
Step 3: Plant perennials and lay mulch.
Shasta daisies, dahlias, primrose, and wild ginger are all no-fail choices for the Pacific Northwest. These long-time PCN natives plants and flowers are beautiful and reliable. They look great and don’t require a lot of upkeep. Visit your local nursery for planting tips and tricks.
